This highly detailed sterling medal was produced for the Clan Stewart Society in America. This piece is awarded to all past presidents of the Society. The Medal depicts the North American Stewart Society Arms within a belt that reads Clan Stewart Society in America Past President and is surrounded with beautifully crafted thistles.
From its beginning at Grandfather Mountain Games in 1975 with ten founding members, Clan Stewart has grown to an international organization with members in a number of countries worldwide. There is no hereditary chief to whom Stewarts offer allegiance, they do however, maintain cordial and effective relations with their sister organization, The Stewart Society in Edinburgh, Scotland.
